The Asset Corporate Awards are the longest running ESG awards in Asia bestowed annually by leading research house, Asset Benchmark Research (ABR). The Platinum, Gold and Titanium awards offer a rigorous benchmarking service for the region’s listed firms. These accolades reaffirm the endorsement from the capital market on the Company's dedicated effort on best investor relations and corporate governance practices, and strong commitment to a high standard of transparency.
The "IR Magazine Awards", organized by the globally renowned IR Magazine, has been held around the world for more than 25 years, honoring companies and individuals who have performed best in the practice of investor relations. "IR Magazine Awards - Greater China 2018" winners were voted by an independent survey of a wide poll of investors, analysts, and members of the investment community located in the region.
China Unicom was awarded "The Best of Asia - Icon on Corporate Governance" in the Recognition Awards 2018 by Corporate Governance Asia. Meanwhile, Mr. Wang Xiaochu, Chairman and CEO of the Company, was honoured with the "Asian Corporate Director Recognition Award 2018."

All website entries are being judged by top-tier professionals from across the U.S.A, Canada, Europe, Hong Kong, and Australia over a list of criteria including concept, content, creativity, ease of navigation, design, functionality, and overall success in achieving the company's goals. Numerous websites from all over the world participated in the contest, which was the 18th annual competition this year.
