The awards are determined based on the EJFQ stock analysis system of HKEJ and evaluated by a committee composed of fund managers, senior stock analysts and analysts, affirming China Unicom’s excellence.

The Asset Corporate Sustainability Leadership Awards (formerly ESG Corporate Awards) are the longest running ESG awards in Asia bestowed annually by leading research house, Asset Benchmark Research (ABR). The awards offer a rigorous benchmarking service for the region’s listed firms, with regard to corporate sustainability. The international "Astrid Awards" honors outstanding achievement in corporate design. Since the "Astrid Awards" was established in 1991, it is a famous and independent competition honoring outstanding achievement in design communications. Over 290 entries were received from 8 countries worldwide in 2025.
China Unicom's Interactive Annual Report has won the "Gold Award in Mobile Media - Annual Report" in the "Questar Awards 2025".
The "Questar Awards" honors outstanding achievement in interactive content that is transformed by the creativity, innovation and originality. Judges represented creative directors, directors of broadcast services, producers, directors, marketing coordinators, production managers, public relations managers, and presidents of production houses, agencies, and corporations. The Grand Awards were selected from the top 5% entries.

The international "Mercury Awards" honors excellence in public relations. Since the "Mercury Awards" was established in 1987, it has been a famous and independent competition honoring outstanding achievement in public relations. In 2024/2025, 300 entries were received from 13 countries worldwide
China Unicom was accredited with “ESG Leading Enterprises Awards” in the seventh ESG Leading Enterprise Awards 2025 organized by Chinese Edition of Bloomberg Businessweek and Deloitte.
The ESG Leading Enterprise Awards 2025 aims at recognizing listed enterprises and asset management companies with outstanding ESG performance and encouraging enterprises to uphold ESG best practices, in order to collectively foster a sustainable business culture with positive impact on the environment and society. Following a rigorous judging procedure advised by Deloitte that ensures credibility and objectivity, a panel of professional judges assessed the submissions based on participating enterprises’ ESG governance mechanisms, goals and performance, as well as environmental and social initiatives.
China Unicom was accredited with “ESG Corporate Communication Award” in the MI x HSU ESG Award 2025 organized by Master Insight (MI) and The Research Centre for ESG (CESG) at HSUHK.
MI x HSU ESG Award 2025 is a result of rigorous scientific evaluation to recognize companies or institutions with a serious commitment to ESG and a distinguished reputation. The ESG Award is one of the most recognized awards in Hong Kong.
