Broadband access

China Unicom broadband Internet CHINA169 not only provides dial-up, xDSL, private line, fiber and many other fixed accesses, but also provides WLAN, GPRS and other wireless access. It also offers rich Internet applications services such as Family gateway, CUMAX website, CUMAX client, internet ID card and IDC.

Family Gateway

Family Gateway emerged with the concept of home network which is the intelligent access gateway connected to the internet through the convergence of home network equipment. It is supportive of ADSL, ETH and optical access in the uplink and multi-ETH, WiFi in the downlink as well as remote management by operators. In terms of applications, it supports multi-device access, interconnecting and sharing, QOS guarantee, Green Internet, NAT, FTP, DNS, etc.

WLAN (Wireless Local Access Network)

Users may get access to China Unicom's internet access service and data communications service through terminals with a built-in WLAN wireless module (such as PC, PDA, cell phone, etc.) or terminal + WLAN card. China Unicom also provides customers with broadband access portfolio of ADSL + WLAN or LAN + WLAN, where users can get internet access at home or business hotels, leisure centers and other public places with China Unicom coverage.

IDC (Internet Data Center)

With the telecom-grade IDC and broadband network resources, China Unicom provides high-speed bandwidth, secure and reliable internet information services to service providers, content providers, system integrators, government and enterprise customers. The company offers IDC basic services (hosting, virtual host, port wholesale, IP Transit and etc.), IDC security services (firewall, traffic cleansing, network security monitoring, data storage and backup and etc.) and IDC value-added services (performance optimization, terminal maintenance, application outsourcing, equipment rental and etc.).

CU MAX website

CU MAX website is China Unicom's broadband portal, providing China Unicom broadband access users with content and applications services. The website includes movies, television, animation, music, entertainment, sports and education channels. With its advanced video services platform for streaming media, the main station and all provincial sub-stations that cover the whole country realized certification through one point to access to the entire network, the whole network services through one access point and the whole network proceeds through settlement at one point.

CU MAX Client

CU MAX client is family-oriented software for broadband services with comprehensive internet browsing functionality. It incorporates web browsing and content services, adopting " 2 + X + A " business model to provide users with movies, animation and other rich entertainment contents, and convenient community information service, as well as other types of customized services to better meet users' demand for one-stop visit to the internet.

eDUN

eDUN is the general term for China Unicom's security certification and internet application services with the digital certificate (CA) technology as the core basis. It covers digital certificates, end-products and application services, with three core functions of certification, authentication and payment to realize identity of the transactor and confidentiality of sensitive data and to prevent distortion of information and denial of transactions.
