The inaugural "M&A Awards Asia" (the "Awards") was jointly organised by the Financial Times and Mergermarket and gives recognition to corporate, private equity, banking and legal expertise and excellence in the Asia-Pacific region. The Judging Panel for the Awards included leading regional experts in mergers and acquisitions, and the judges looked at various criteria, including strategic nature, complexity and financing requirements of the deals worked on etc. when selecting the winners of the Awards.
